Hand-painted glass.
Framed for your home.

A closer look at the paint, glass, wood and packaging that make up your finished portrait.

The painted surface

Acrylic paint,
applied one stroke at a time.

The portrait is painted in acrylic directly on glass. The painted areas hold the color and likeness; the space around the pet remains transparent.

A brush leaves visible changes in color and direction through the fur. Around the eyes and muzzle, those smaller marks give the face its expression. Look closely at the finished artwork to see how the painted details come together.

The glass panel is removable from its wooden frame. Keep it securely fitted for display and avoid touching the painted surface.

The wood tone changes the border around the painting. Both colors are the same price.

Measure the space where it will stand.

All listed measurements include the outside of the wooden frame. The glass and painted area sit inside those dimensions. A smaller frame suits a bedside table or desk; compare the larger sizes for a more prominent display.

Natural grain and tone vary from frame to frame. Choose the wood color you prefer, then use the combined size chart to compare every option at one scale.

For two or three pets, all selected companions are painted together within one frame. Think about how much room you want the faces to have when choosing the size.

Follow the fur
from outline to detail.

In this terrier painting, the artist establishes the face and coat before working into the whiskers. The direction and length of each stroke change with the fur.

Display it where
you’ll enjoy seeing it.

Choose a stable indoor surface away from its edge, direct heat and moisture. Keep the glass secure in the frame and away from knocks.

Handle the frame, protect the paint.

Support the frame with both hands. Dust the wood gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid rubbing or scraping the painting, soaking the glass or using cleaning chemicals on the artwork.
