The story behind the photo

A gift chosen around
someone’s favorite pet.

The red bandana has been part of Rusty’s look since the first week at home. Aiden chooses a reference that includes it as a small reminder of that beginning.

The artist’s focus

Small brushstrokes.
A familiar expression.

The bandana adds a point of color beneath the face. It supports the portrait without replacing the pet’s expression as the focus.
